1.  Planning & Coordination

Discovery

We start by conducting a discovery interview to gather valuable information about your business, project specifics, challenges, goals, and target customers. We then distill this information into a focused brief. This collaborative process helps us understand your vision and often clarifies your objectives.

Research & Project Planning

Based on our discoveries and our initial research into your industry, competitors, and target customers, we will create a draft plan for your website. This plan will outline the structure of the pages and content. Additionally, we will research suitable tools for any required special functions. Following this, we will prepare a proposal that includes project objectives, a draft plan, a scope of work, a timeline, fees, options, and recommendations.

Project Approval

Once we receive your feedback, we'll incorporate the necessary adjustments and finalize the project plan that we both agree upon.

Now, we're ready to kick off the project!

2.  Design

Determine Direction

We will gather available content from you, including your logo, photos, and information about your company, services, and products. We will study these materials alongside the project brief to identify key design concepts. Based on our analysis, we will explore design approaches and determine the most suitable methods.

While we work on the design, you can focus on writing the text content. If you need professional assistance, we can connect you with a content writer who can craft engaging, keyword-rich material that resonates with your audience.

Production

Option 1 - Full Customization

1. Conceptualizing & Design Research

   Keeping the key design concepts from the previous step in mind, we conduct research and gather inspiration. As part of our internal process, we create a style tile that includes potential design elements, typography, colours, and other visual inspirations that align with the key design concepts.

2. Sketching

   We sketch initial thumbnails of key design elements, icons, and crucial page layouts. From these, we further develop selected thumbnails into detailed sketches.

3. Digital Production & Presentation

   We create digital versions of the design concepts with refined details and build mockups of key web pages for presentation. We present 2-3 design concepts of key web pages for you to review.

4. Design Revision & Approval

   After receiving your feedback, we will refine the design and get your final design approval.

Option 2 - Semi Customization

Keeping the key design themes in mind, we search for WordPress templates that meets your required functions. Then, we'll send you a shortlist for you to choose from with recommendations. After you selected your preferred template, we will customize it within the template's available options. We will also research appropriate stock images.

3.  Development

Building

We implement the approved design for Full Customization or personalize the selected template for Semi Customization while also implementing on-page SEO (For semi-customized, all of our recommended on-page SEO practices may not be implementable depending on the template's capabilities). After completing local development, we will upload the website to a staging environment on your server for your review.

At this stage, we will need the final copywriting.

Testing & Revision

We incorporate your feedback to make necessary revisions and address any design or functionality issues.

Finalization

We evaluate the website's on-page SEO implementation, assess its performance, and make any final adjustments.

Launch & Instruction

Once we receive your final approval, your website will go live!

After the launch, we will schedule a training session at your convenience, especially for those who wish to update content themselves. We'll walk you through the WordPress admin area and other relevant tools for you to get comfortable.
